Ingredients

15 oz. pkg. Oreo cookies
1/3 c. melted butter or margarine
1 can Hershey's fudge sauce
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
Preparation

Crush cookies including frosting in blender.
Add melted butter.
Keep 2 cups crumbs for topping.
Press remaining mixture into 9 x 13-inch greased pan.
Slice ice cream and place on mixture.
Let soften and spread evenly.
Spread sauce on ice cream and top with Cool Whip.
Sprinkle remaining cookie mixture on top and put in freezer.
Remove and let stand several minutes before cutting and serving.
