12 Pound Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. sugar
    2 lb. self-rising flour
    2 lb. candied fruit
    2 lb. pecans
    1 lb. margarine
    1 doz. eggs
    1 c. orange juice
    cherries
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, then add orange juice.
    Add flour gradually.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Flour fruit. Add to mixture.
    Flour pecans and add last.
    Mix well.
    Grease and flour pans.
    Line bottom of pans with brown paper.
    Grease paper.
    Bake 20 minutes at 350\u00b0; then 2 to 2 1/2 hours at 250\u00b0. Decorate top with pecans and cherries.
