Queen Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, unbeaten
2 c. cake flour, sifted
3 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. milk

Preparation

Cream Crisco and sugar.
Add eggs, 1 at a time.
Mix well. Add all dry ingredients alternately with milk.
Add vanilla.
Bake in 3 greased and floured cake pans at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes or until tested done.
Frost with your favorite icing.
