Easy As Pie Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

5 c. peeled, sliced green apples
1 1/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 c. flour
2 eggs
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell

Preparation

Place apples in a 9-inch pie shell.
Combine 1/3 cup sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
Sprinkle all but 2 teaspoons of cinnamon sugar mixture on top of apples.
