Leftover Roast Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. roast, sliced thin
    1 1/2 c. onions, sliced thin
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/3 c. milk
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    dash of pepper
    3 c. cooked potatoes
Preparation
    Brown beef and onion in butter.
    Blend soup, milk, 3/4 cup cheese and pepper.
    In 1 1/2-quart casserole alternate layers (starting with potatoes).
    Sprinkle top with remaining 1/4 cup cheese.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes, uncovered.
