Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium potatoes, diced
    1/2 small onion, diced
    1 c. milk
    1/2 can broccoli or cream of chicken soup
    large dab of sour cream
    1 carrot, diced
    4 pats of margarine
    salt and pepper
    slice of cheese (optional)
Preparation
    Cover vegetables with water.
    Cook until tender, about 25 minutes.
    Put in soup, sour cream and cheese.
    Heat a few minutes, then add milk and serve.
    Makes 4 to 5 servings.
