Paella(Rice With Veggies And Meat) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. white rice
    1/2 c. peas and sliced carrots
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. garlic
    1 jar pimientos (small)
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 (15 oz.) cans chicken broth
    2 1/2 lb. chicken, cut up
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1/4 to 1/2 lb. shrimp (frozen or fresh)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Use an ovenproof dish or saucepan.
    Cook chicken first in oil.
    Boil broth in saucepan.
    In pan used for chicken, brown onion and pimientos; add rice and toss to coat.
    Add spices and broth to rice mixture.
    Place chicken and vegetables on top.
    Do not stir!
    Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
