Bird Nests(Swedish) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1 egg yolk, well beaten
    1 egg white
    1 c. flour
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add egg yolk.
    Stir in flour.
    Form into balls and dip into slightly beaten egg white.
    Roll in chopped nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
    Remove from oven. Press centers and return to oven for 10 minutes.
    When cool, fill centers with jam.
