"Sugar'S" Sweet Potato Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cooked sweet potatoes, mashed
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    5 c. flour
    3/4 c. warm water
Preparation
    Blend together the potatoes and butter.
    Dissolve the yeast in 1/2 cup warm water, then add to the mashed potatoes.
    Add egg, salt and sugar; blend together.
    Sift flour and measure.
    Add alternately with 3/4 cup warm water, stirring in each addition. Turn on well floured board and knead until smooth and elastic. Place in greased bowl and cover.
    Allow to rise for 2 hours.
    Shape in balls and place in greased pans.
    Brush top of rolls with melted butter and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in bulk.
    Bake in a 425\u00b0 oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
