Okra Gumbo - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. margarine
2 c. fresh okra, cut in 1-inch pieces
2 tomatoes, diced
1 medium onion, diced
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. sugar or more to taste
2 tsp. vinegar or more to taste
1/4 c. water (if there is no juice)
Preparation

In a saucepan, melt margarine.
Add okra and onion.
Saute until browned.
Add tomatoes, salt, pepper, sugar, vinegar and water if needed.
Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes or until okra is tender.
