Pickled Eggs On Greens - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 hard-cooked eggs
    1 c. cider vinegar
    1 c. beet liquid
    1/3 c. granulated sugar or packed brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 small onion, chopped
    4 whole cloves
    shredded salad greens
Preparation
    Place peeled eggs in glass bowl on jar.
    Mix remaining ingredients except greens.
    Pour over eggs.
    Cover and refrigerate to blend flavors, at least 2 days.
    Cut eggs crosswise into slices; serve on greens.
