Freezer Strawberry Preserves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 3/4 c. crushed berries
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    1 pkg. Sure-Jell
    5 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. light corn syrup
Preparation
    Measure fruit and lemon juice into crock-pot.
    Stir well. Sprinkle in package of Sure-Jell, stirring vigorously.
    Set aside 30 minutes, stirring mixture once in a while.
    Then add 1 cup syrup and mix well.
    Then stir sugar into fruit mixture.
    Warm to 100\u00b0, no hotter.
    When sugar is dissolved preserves are ready to pour into glasses or jars.
    Chill 24 hours in refrigerator, then place in freezer to store.
    Makes 4 pints.
