Cheese Vegetable Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. diced potatoes
1/2 c. sliced carrots
1/2 c. sliced celery
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 c. canned green peas, drained
1/4 c. butter
3 Tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1 c. cottage cheese
salt and pepper to taste
1 c. bread crumbs
2 Tbsp. melted butter for crumbs
Preparation

Cook first 4 vegetables in just enough water to cover until tender.
Add peas.
Make white sauce with butter, flour and milk. Add Cheddar cheese.
Stir until melted.
Add cottage cheese. Combine with vegetables.
Pour into 2-quart buttered baking dish. Cover with buttered bread crumbs.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until brown and bubbly.
Serves 6 to 8.
