Pickled Okra - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. okra
    10 pods hot pepper
    10 garlic cloves
    3/4 pickling salt
    8 c. cider vinegar
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Wash okra and pack in jars.
    Put 1 pod pepper and 1 clove garlic in each jar.
    Combine salt, vinegar and water; heat to boiling.
    Pour over okra and seal.
    Let stand several weeks before opening.
    Makes 10 pints.
