Elegant Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 or 8 red potatoes
    8 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese
    1 tsp. salt
    1 pt. whipping cream
    1/4 c. bread crumbs
    1 Tbsp. butter, melted
Preparation
    Boil potatoes in jackets; cook, peel and shred on medium grater.
    Shred cheese on same grater; do not wash in between uses. Butter a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
    Alternate layers of potatoes and cheese.
    Sprinkle salt on each layer.
    Pour whipped cream over potato-cheese mix.
    Top with bread crumbs and butter mixture and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 60 minutes.
