Peach Preserves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. peaches
    8 c. sugar
Preparation
    Wash and peel peaches.
    Cut in half.
    Remove and discard pits. Cut into small pieces in a large kettle.
    Add sugar and bring to a boil.
    Cook and stir for 10 minutes or until as tender as desired.
    Pack in hot sterilized jars and seal immediately.
