Pork Chop Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 pork chops
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    4 c. thinly sliced potatoes
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 1/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Rub chops with salt and pepper; melt butter in skillet.
    Add chops, brown lightly on both sides.
    Remove chops, add onions. Brown lightly.
    Put sliced potatoes in baking dish.
    Arrange chops over top.
    Add soup and milk to onions in skillet.
    Blend until smooth.
    Pour over chops.
    Cover and bake in moderate oven for 30 minutes, uncover and bake additional 30 to 40 minutes.
