Pecan Cheese Wafers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. shredded extra sharp Cheddar cheese
    1 c. butter or margarine, softened
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. red pepper
    1 c. crisp rice cereal
    1 c. pecans
Preparation
    Combine cheese and butter; mix well.
    Add flour, salt and pepper to creamed mixture.
    Stir in cereal last.
    Chill 2 hours. Shape into 1-inch balls.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 300\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
