Pumpkin Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening (I use Crisco)
1 1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 1/2 c. pumpkin
4 c. flour
2 Tbsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. soda
2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 c. or less chopped nuts

Preparation

Mix together; drop from teaspoon onto cookie sheet and bake 12 to 15 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
May be iced with confectioners sugar glaze, if desired.
