English Lemon Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs, well beaten
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. lemon juice
    1/4 c. butter
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients and cook in double boiler stirring frequently until thick.
    Serve in tart shells or as a filling for layer cakes, or as a spread on toast, biscuits or bread.
