Microwave Savory Onion Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken (2 1/2 to 3 1/2 lb.), cut up
    1/3 c. butter, melted
    1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
Preparation
    Dip chicken in butter.
    Coat with dry soup mix and arrange in 12 x 8 x 2-inch dish, skin side up, with thick meaty pieces to the outside edges of dish.
    Cover with wax paper.
    Microwave at High 18 to 22 minutes, rotating dish 1/2 turn after 10 minutes, until meat is tender.
    Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
