Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. oats
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/3 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Mix oats with 1 1/2 cups boiling water.
    Set aside.
    Let stand 20 minutes.
    Cream together all ingredients.
    Pour batter into greased and floured 9 x 12-inch baking pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
