Soft Chocolate Chippers - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. buttermilk
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces

Preparation

Add a teaspoon of vinegar or lemon juice to milk if no buttermilk.
