Homemade Sweetened Condensed Milk - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. cold water
    1 1/3 c. nonfat dry milk
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Halve a 1 1/2-pound squash lengthwise.
    If squash is hard to cut, microwave for 1 to 2 minutes.
    Scrape out the seeds.
    Fit the halves together again or cover each with plastic wrap.
    Microwave for 1/2 time.
    Turn over the whole squash or rotate and rearrange halves.
    Microwave remaining time.
    Let stand 5 to 10 minutes. High power:
    1/2 squash 5 to 8 minutes; 1 squash 8 1/2 to 11 1/2 minutes; 2 squash 13 to 16 minutes.
