Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. quick cooking oatmeal (uncooked)
    1 stick butter
    1 1/4 c. boiling water
    2 eggs
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Mix oatmeal, butter and boiling water together; cover and let cool while mixing the remaining ingredients.
    Beat eggs; add sugars and beat well.
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Add part of flour and part of oatmeal mixture to egg mixture alternately. Pour in 9 x 12 x 2-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
