Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. diced green pepper
    1/2 c. diced celery
    1/4 c. minced onion
    3 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 3/4 c. canned tomatoes
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    dash of pepper
    1 bay leaf
    1 small sprig parsley
    1 1/2 c. cooked shrimp
    1/4 tsp. Worcestershire
    1 1/3 c. cooked rice
Preparation
    Saute green pepper, onion and celery in butter until tender, about 5 minutes.
    Add flour and blend.
    Add tomatoes gradually; stir constantly.
    Add salt, pepper, sugar, bay leaf and parsley. Cook gently 30 minutes.
    Remove bay leaf and parsley.
    Add shrimp and Worcestershire sauce.
    Heat.
    Serve Shrimp Creole over rice.
