Pat'S Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 large eggs
5 c. chopped fresh apples
juice of 1 lemon
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
3 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
1 1/2 c. oil
Preparation

Peel and seed apples.
Squeeze lemon juice over them; set aside.
In large bowl, combine sugar, eggs and oil.
Mix well until smooth.
Sift together flour, baking soda and baking powder. Add to sugar mixture.
Fold in and mix well.
Add vanilla.
Fold in apples and nuts.
Pour into 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Bake at 350\u00b0 approximately 1 hour.
