Coconut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. Crisco
    5 eggs
    1 tsp. coconut extract
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 c. plain flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 can coconut
Preparation
    Cream sugar and Crisco.
    Add one egg at a time and beat 2 minutes after each addition.
    Add coconut extract and add buttermilk, flour, baking powder and salt alternately.
    Stir in coconut and put in greased and floured tube pan (not Bundt pan). Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
