Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 green peppers
    12 red peppers
    15 onions
    1 part vinegar
    2 parts water
    1 1/2 pt. vinegar
    4 1/2 lb. white sugar (6 3/4 c.)
    4 1/2 Tbsp. white mustard seed
    4 1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Chop vegetables, then put boiling water over it and let set for 10 minutes. Drain.
    Pour 1 part vinegar and 2 parts water over this and bring to a boil.
    Drain again. Combine remaining ingredients and cook all together (with vegetables) for 15 minutes.
    Can and seal.
    Good on hot dogs and hamburgs.
    Yields 6 1/2 pints.
