Tomato-Basil Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. balsamic or red wine vinegar
    2 fresh tomatoes (or 1/2 c. puree)
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. coarse ground pepper
    1 clove garlic (or 1 tsp. garlic powder)
    1/2 tsp. Italian herbs
    3 Tbsp. fresh basil (or 1 Tbsp. dried)
    1 c. olive oil
Preparation
    Blend all ingredients except oil in blender at high speed. Add oil and blend until will emulsified.
