Easy Skillet Supper - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 strips bacon
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 large onions, sliced
    2 medium potatoes, peeled
    1 green pepper
    4 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/2 c. water
    2 c. shredded cabbage
    1 c. celery
    2 medium tomatoes, peeled and quartered or 1 c. canned tomatoes
Preparation
    Cut bacon into 1/2-inch pieces.
    Place in large skillet and pan-fry until crisp.
    Add ground beef and onion slices; cook until meat is brown and onion is tender.
    Cut potatoes and green pepper in julienne strips; reserve.
    Stir soy sauce and water into hot meat mixture.
    Add prepared vegetables; mix thoroughly.
    Cover and cook over high flame until steam escapes.
    Then turn to simmer and cook 15 minutes.
    Makes 4 servings.
