Chocolate Macaroon Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/3 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp.soda
    1 c. flour
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1/2 c. flake coconut
Preparation
    Cream together butter and sugars.
    Beat in egg, vanilla, salt and soda.
    Stir in the flour, chips and coconut.
    Spread in a greased 9 x 12-inch pan.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes or until light golden brown.
    Cut into bars or squares when cooled.
