Instant Pumpkin Pie - cooking recipe

2 (3 3/4 oz.) pkg. vanilla instant pudding mix
1 1/3 c. milk
16 oz. can pumpkin
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. cloves
9 oz. container or 4 c. whipped topping
9-inch pie shell
pecan halves
Preparation

Add spices to dry pudding mix.
Then add milk; mix slowly with beater until just blended (30 seconds).
Blend in pumpkin and 2 cups whipped topping.
