Sweet-Sour Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 big cabbage or (2) 1 lb. grated cabbage
    1 medium onion, diced
    1 C. vinegar
    3/4 cooking oil
    1 C. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery salt
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. brown sugar
    1 shredded carrot, if desired
Preparation
    Grate cabbage and carrot if not using \"shredded cabbage packages\".
    Add diced onion and put in a large bowl.
    In a medium saucepan, add vinegar, oil, sugar and all above listed spices. Stir.
    Bring to a boil and pour over cabbage.
    This recipe is great when made one day in advance.
