Spareribs And Sauerkraut - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 7 lb. pork loin country-style spareribs
    1 (2 lb.) jar sauerkraut
    3/4 c. onions, coarsely chopped
    1 c. apples, coarsely chopped
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. chicken broth
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Broil ribs until brown on all sides.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Combine all other ingredients and place in Dutch oven. Push ribs into mixture. Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 2 hours. Make sure that all liquid does not dry up.
    Add more broth if necessary. Serves 6 to 8.
