Favorite Meat Loaf(Microwave Cooking Directions) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
1 tsp. prepared mustard
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 medium onion, minced
1 1/4 to 1 1/2 c. instant oatmeal or cracker crumbs
2 lb. ground beef
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Combine tomato sauce, brown sugar, vinegar and mustard in a small bowl; set aside.
Combine egg, onion, oatmeal, ground beef, salt and pepper in a mixing bowl.
Add half of the tomato mixture and blend thoroughly.
Shape into an oval loaf and place in an oblong microproof baking dish.
Make a depression in top of loaf. Pour remaining tomato sauce over top of meat.
Cook, uncovered, on Medium for 25 to 30 minutes, until center is cooked.
Cover meat; let stand for about 10 minutes before serving.
