Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
3/4 c. white syrup
1 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. raw peanuts
3 rounded tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Combine sugar, syrup, water and salt in a thick bottom 4-quart pan.
Cook on high heat, adding peanuts when temperature reaches 240\u00b0.
When temperature reaches 300\u00b0, remove from fire.
Stir in baking soda and pour immediately on greased aluminum foil.
Smooth over and rake down only once.
Break into pieces when hard.
