Homemade Peach Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. unflavored gelatin
    4 c. light cream
    1 egg, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. almond extract
    dash of salt
    3 c. mashed, ripe peaches
    3/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Combine 1/2 cup of sugar, gelatin and half of the cream.
    Stir over low heat until gelatin dissolves.
    Stir a small amount of hot mixture into egg; mix well.
    Return to remaining mixture.
    Cook and stir until thick, about 1 minute.
    Chill.
    Add remaining cream, vanilla, almond extract and salt.
    Combine peaches and 3/4 cup of sugar.
    Add to chilled mixture.
    Freeze in ice cream freezer.
