Muddy Buddies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9 c. Chex cereal (any variety)
    1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
    1/4 c. butter or margarine (do not use spread or tub products!)
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
Preparation
    Measure cereal into a large bowl and set aside.
    In a saucepan, over low heat, melt the chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter until it can be stirred smoothly.
    Stir in vanilla. Pour chocolate mixture over cereal and stir gently until evenly coated.
    Pour into a large plastic (Zip-lock) bag.
    Add powdered sugar to the bag and seal.
    Shake bag until chocolate covered Chex are covered with powdered sugar.
    Spread on waxed paper to cool. Store in refrigerator.
