Chicken Casserole Iii - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 pkg. noodles
    2 c. cooked chicken, cut up or 5-6 breasts & 1 thigh
    1/4 c. celery
    1/2 c. water chestnuts, diced
    1/2 c. mushrooms
    1/4 c. canned red pimento
    1 green pepper, diced
    1 med. can evaporated milk
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1/2 c. grated American cheese
    salt and pepper to taste
    slivered almonds
    buttered bread crumbs
Preparation
    Cook noodles. Cook chicken with celery until done. Combine milk, soup, cheese, salt and pepper. Line casserole with noodles. Stir together cooked chicken with vegetables and soup mixture; pour over noodles. Top with almonds and bread crumbs. Bake until heated through.
