Pennsylvania Dutch Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. shredded cabbage
    4 slices bacon, diced
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. water
    1/3 c. cider vinegar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    pepper
    1 onion, sliced
Preparation
    Cook cabbage in salted boiling water for 7 minutes.
    Fry bacon and remove from pan.
    Add sugar and flour to bacon fat; blend. Add water, vinegar and seasoning (1/2 teaspoon salt and dash of pepper).
    Cook until thick.
    Add onion, bacon and cabbage.
    Heat through and serve.
