Cream Of Cucumber Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large cucumbers, peeled, sliced and seeded
    2 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. flour
    3 c. chicken stock
    1 c. scalded milk
    1/2 small onion
    1/2 c. light cream
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook cucumbers in butter over low heat for 10 minutes. Gradually add chicken stock, stirring constantly.
    Add scalded milk and thinly sliced onion; simmer slowly for 10 minutes.
    Cool for 10 minutes.
    Pour into blender in small amounts; blend well. Add cream and seasonings.
    Chill.
    Garnish with chives.
