Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. diced onion
    1/3 c. diced green peppers
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 c. tomato sauce
    1 c. water
    1 1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. red pepper
    1/4 c. grated cheese
    1/4 c. River rice or 1 1/2 c. Minute rice
Preparation
    Saute onion and peppers.
    Brown meat in oil.
    Add sauce, water and seasonings.
    Bring to a boil.
    Stir in cheese and rice. Cover.
    Cook on stove on low heat for 30 minutes.
