Fantastic Banana Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 yellow cake mix
1 pt. whipping cream
1/2 to 2/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. maple syrup
5 or 6 bananas

Preparation

Bake cake in 2 layers according to package directions.
Cool completely.
Whip cream; fold in vanilla and sugar.
Spoon 1 tablespoon of maple syrup on both sides of layers.
Cover lightly with whipped cream.
Slice bananas on cake.
Cover with whipped cream.
Repeat with second layer.
Chill for several hours.
Will keep several days in refrigerator.
