German Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. vinegar
    5 c. sugar
    1/3 c. salt
    1 tsp. turmeric
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    cucumbers
    onions
Preparation
    Heat vinegar, sugar, salt, turmeric, celery seed and dry mustard until sugar dissolves, then cool.
    Slice cucumbers thin and chop 1 cup onions and pour solutions over cucumbers and pack in gallon glass jar.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    Enjoy.
