New England Boiled Dinner(Mother'S Version) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    pork chops
    water
    cabbage, cut in large pieces
    onions, cut in large pieces
    salt and pepper to taste
    margarine (optional)
Preparation
    Simmer pork chops until done in enough water to fill the pot at least one-third full.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    When the chops are done, remove them.
    Simmer the onions and cabbage in the liquid until tender.
    Return the pork chops to the pot until they are heated back.
    Adding some margarine at the end adds a little more flavor.
