Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 2 lb. stew beef
    1 onion
    3 to 6 carrots, sliced
    1 stick celery, sliced
    1 tsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. tapioca
    1 c. tomato juice
    2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cut beef into bite size chunks; arrange in Pyrex dish.
    Cover with vegetables.
    Sprinkle with sugar, tapioca and salt.
    Pour on tomato juice.
    Cover with foil and bake for 5 hours at 250\u00b0.
