Caramel French Toast(Good For Christmas Morn!) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. margarine
    2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    6 eggs, beaten
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    12 slices bread
Preparation
    Combine sugar, butter and corn syrup in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat until sauce thickens, stirring constantly. Pour syrup mixture in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Place 6 slices of bread on top of syrup mixture.
    Top with remaining 6 slices of bread.
    Combine eggs, milk, vanilla and salt, stirring until blended.
    Pour over bread.
    Chill overnight.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until light golden brown, 40 to 45 minutes.
