Icebox Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 pt. heavy cream
16 cookies (can be single layer cookie or filled cookie)
1 tsp. confectioners sugar (add to whipped cream if using single layer cookie, if sandwich cookie, may want to eliminate additional sugar)

Preparation

Whip heavy cream until it stands in peaks when beater is lifted up.
Have your favorite deep casserole ready and spoon a layer of whipped cream into bottom of casserole dish.
Then place a layer of cookies on top of cream and thereafter a layer of cookies and a layer of cream until cookies are used up.
Last layer should be a layer of cream.
