Rice Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 pkg. egg noodles (any size)
    1 Tbsp. Crisco or oil
    1 c. rice
    2 1/2 c. chicken broth or bouillon
    1 stick butter or margarine
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Brown the egg noodles in the Crisco in a heavy-gauge saucepan over low heat.
    Add the rice, chicken broth and butter.
    Bring to a boil.
    Stir until butter is melted.
    Turn heat to low.
    Cover with a lid.
    Cook about 20 minutes or until rice is tender.
    Add salt as needed.
